Feel like a star....broadcast yourself...Because we’re worth it... Following your own rules...One of the greatest pleasures you can have...Sheer Driving Pleasure...Start the day with great taste...Smooth out your day, every day...Coffee Indulgence...
These are by no means just marketing taglines but the real guiding themes for designing our everyday lives. A wide range of assistants are boosting our pleasure mechanisms: proliferating therapies are keeping us beautiful and young, WEB 2.0 lets us be our own spin doctors, personality matchings are selecting our loved ones in order to eradicate all relationship imperfections. But where is this blind designing of our delightful existence going to lead us to? If we don’t see the others but only ourselves?

Belarusian TV coverage on SYPEMEDA (Stage for Young Performing and Media Artists) from Volha Kastsel on Vimeo.
SYPEMEDA (Stage for Young PErforming and MEDia Artists) seeks to enhance the access of young artists to platforms for artistic expression. The project brought together two artistic disciplines (Performing and Media Arts) having promising perspectives to enhance each other mutually. Early adoption examples such as the use of the Musion Eyeliner System to integrate 3D holographic cartoons on stage during the MTV Awards 2005 in Lisbon and the holographic 3D technology showing Kate Moss floating during the Alexander McQueen runway show 2006 are evidence for the attractiveness of combining media and performing arts in an innovative way.
